We stayed at the Sunway for three nights (with a one night stop over in Halong Bay in the middle). We thought it was a decent hotel, nice and clean, food reasonably good, breakfast buffet was ok if you like fruit and pastries, although they did have a good egg station and would boil, poach, fry omlette as requested. We came upon this horrible hotel not because we booked here or anything, but because we arrived in Hanoi at the wee hours of the morning and we didn't know that the city was so dead at 3AM.
