Just returned from 3 weeks in Kathmandu - spent the lat week staying at the Tibet Hotel in Lazimpat. Great little place - most consistent internet connnection I had in the whole city! Great staff - small enough to be personal - large enough to have all necessary amenities. I will definitely be back. more

This pleasant place is close to Thamel (and Syambu and Durbar Square) but a little separate, so it's quieter. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. They have gone the extra mile for me several times--helping me to find the right plane ticket, providing me a cable for an internet hookup in my room, looking after my motorcycle with care.... more
