My stay at the Kohala Village Inn was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful with information about the area - where to snorkel, where the good beaches were down the coast and the spectacular Pololu Valley. the hotel was hidden. couldnt tell that it was an outrigger. The rooms was dingy and dirty....and smelled like wet animal...the view from within the hotel out to the ocean was very pretty...but you could get the same if not better view from walking down the road from the hotel...it is in serious need of refurbishing more
