I stayed at Casa Veranda for 7 weeks or so. Check in and out were smooth and effortless, they were ready for us when we arrived. I stayed at the Camino Real for about 8 weeks, and I have to say that I was very impressed. The service was prompt and professional throughout. Pool and gym facilities were great, and the Italian restaurant was amazing - don't miss it! The only thing I wasn't fond of was that the room was dated... but the bed more... more

This is a safe place, super clean, with hot water, free internet and TV. Its 5 minutes from the airport, so its make a nice location to spend the night if you are planning to visit the town or to go to Tikal. They have a private cook that can arrange meals for you for 40Q per person. They can... more
