My wife and I spent one night here and were well pleased. Nice little motel - close parking , two chairs and a table outside the door on the walkway, views across alfalfa fields to the Warner Mountains, fridge, microwave, flow-through ventilation, and a comfy bed. Perfect for us, and at a reasonable price. I'd like to stay there again. more

The "other" motels in Alturas were noisy, and dirty looking....I sure am glad I took notes from Tripadvisor as to where to stay! The Rim Rock was comfy, clean and a real value for the basic room we stayed in...Nice folks run this place too...I judge restaurants and lodging by if they look "loved" or "neglected" I rate Rim Rock... more
