this is a switch for me from the grand palace. it is good value, good location and friendly front staff. the front staff person on duty the first night loaned me for my stay her personal 220 volt to 110 volt converter, which i learned when i tried to buy it in london was a $50 item. it was nice... more

My wife and I visited this restaurant on Livu Laukums square in the centre of Riga old town and were pleasantly surprised. Ok, this is not a hotel. But for a hostel it was absolutely amazing! We got a warm welcome, a clean and lovely room and a great location for very nice price. The breakfast was free too but I have to suggest people bring their own food too as they only have the bare minimum. The fridge was shared so... more
