The parador de Cuenca is wonderful - the building is and old castle and really beautiful. The building offers wonderful view on the old city of Cuenca at the other side of the bridge. This was our "splurge" accommodation and the Parador lived up to the hype of the previous reviews. Unfortunately our rooms had no views but they were beautifully furnished. The town of Cuenca is beautiful, and the Parador is lovely. The location is beautiful, right on the gorge, linked to town by the footbridge. The rooms are updated, but in keeping with the history of the building. We also really enjoyed dinner at Mason Casas Colgadas just across the bridge. I would highly recommend a visit to Cuenca more
