We're back in Cologne for weeks now and still almost every day thinking about those wonderful days in Cornwall! We think we had the best accomodation ever with the beautiful Lemon Suite. Your hospitality, help and kindness made us feel most welcome! Pointing us to the Minors Arms and other great places to visit made our vacation perfect. We definitely... more

We stayed four nights at Lambriggan Court during a recent UK holiday in Cornwall. I checked out a number of places online and was confident that Lambriggan was the best choice around. I was proved right, and then some, during our visit! The hosts are wonderful, the meals fabulous and the accomodation gorgeous! Lynn, the owner, and her team advised... more

Disappointed with facilities in room considering £120.00 per night cost, would have expected bed side tables, a mirror above dressing table,no hairdrier,no where to put soap in verty nice shower [shower gell not supplied just loads of shampoo]. The access to the room in the cottage annexe was not particularly clean with dead leaves littering the area. Room and bed... more

Right from the start a warm welcome and help with our bags was given. The room was modern, fresh, really clean and comfortable. I could imagine that the lack of On-suite facilities would put some people off but a few steps down the hall didn't bother us. The building itself was easy to find (mainly because Portreath is tiny!!!) and... more

We stayed for four nights in the four poster room, which was superbly comfortable and had an equally luxurious en suite bathroom with a separate shower. The views from the room were stupendous and there was absolute peace and quiet. Everything was cleaned and refreshed daily. Jim and Iris Grifiin are pretty experienced at this B and B game and... more

A lovingly maintained b&b that shines from the moment you walk in. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help, the room we had (No 7, second floor) was furnished with top quality, modern fixtures and fittings to give a contempory feel to this traditional looking hotel. I looked hard for the slightest trace of neglect or dust and... more

This was our first holiday in the UK for many years and it has to be said that we like our luxuries when away from home. Lambriggan Court certainly delivered in every respect. Lynn and Jon (who cook the best breakfasts in the world) were so warm and welcoming that we felt completely at home and at ease in our... more

During the day this place serves delicious bistro style salads and sandwiches with the best coffee in the south west. The furniture and crockery is an eclectic mix, look out for plates and cups your grandma may have used. The evening menu is well -priced, offering authentic provincial French cuisine, using top quality local ingredients. The food is cooked to... more

We travelled to Chycara for a short break at the start of September after spending a couple of nights in a similarly priced B&B in Torquay. We knew that Chycara was remote and were aware of the facilities on offer but nothing prepared us for the sheer brilliance of the place! After struggling to find the place (read the instructions,... more

I stayed at Lambriggan Court with my mother back in April during the Easter break. I had never been to Cornwall and was keen to explore this part of the country. We booked four nights, stayed for five, and wished we could have stayed longer. Iris and Jim were lovely hosts. Quiet, peaceful setting. As we are from the States, we often try to book centuries old manor houses for the historic charm we can't get back home. However, although this house is modern, from our web search we very much... more

We walked in off the street on a Saturday afternoon, and managed to get a lovely room, right on the seafront. On first inspection the room was lovely, then we realised that we were not able to lock the door to the room, and there was no tea and coffee provided. The man servering at the bar (which I think... more
