We satyed for a single night because our flight home departed from Lyon, we came from Avignon by TGV. I thought we had reserved the other Holiday Inn near Part Dieu train station......it turns out, if you are catching an early flight out of Lyon there's no transportation from the hotel except taxi, and that will cost you about €55.... more
I went to Lyon University in Villeurbane, atending a conference. The best thing was proximity from the Campus. At night after last presentation we could go to Lyon Downtown taking the T1 train passing every time along the campus. The room was very tiny (french standard...) and witout any refrigerator or working vending machine. During the summer you can imagine... more
