We stayed here for 6 nights and loved the place. The hotel is directly on the white-sand-turquoise-water Pinarello beach. Rooms are simple and not excessively big, but very chic and comfortable. Breakfast and lunch were somewhat overpriced compared to other hotels of similar category we stayed in during our visit to Corsica but they are served in a lovely terrace... more

This hotel was a huge disapointment. The website with its jazzy music and nice pictures lead me to believe this hotel would be stylish or sophisticated when in fact it is a very mainstream hotel that is in DRIVING distance to some good beaches. The hotel is situated on a arterial road in an industrial area bars and restaurants are... more

After reading the great review Littarica recieved in Lonely Planet I decided to book this B&B for 2 nights. Myself and my boyfriend were really looking forward to it, however we were bitterly disappointed. We phoned in the morning to ask what time we could check in at. Thinking that the norm was around 11am/midday we were surprised when the... more

The Hotel is located just outside the old town, a few minute walk to the main square and restaurants. It is conveniently located to all of the bus stops if you are like us and using public transportation. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and nice, and extremely helpful with any questions you might have on how to... more

The hotel rooms are very spacious with a balcony. Toilet is seperated from teh bath room. The hotel is build in an area surrounded by holiday rentals. The swimming pool is round, which is partially deep and partially undeep. The breakfast is outside near the swimming pool. Inside you can pick from the buffet BIO products. Only the reception is... more

Although we love Santa Giulia ( our 3rd visit), we were very very disappointed with the accomodation at Sant Giulia Palace, and it nearly spoilt our holiday. The Holiday Options website is misrepresentative, with picture of the more expenise villas not offered in Holiday Options. There are 2 areas with the more expensive villas in a gated area with a... more

Great place. Set on one of the most beautiful beaches, heaving with beautiful people from 2 to 92, slick service, fantastic and imaginative food. A must visit if you are in that part of Corsica. Have only been at lunchtime. Sure it would be romantic and laid back for the evenings. Remember - like so many places in Corsica -... more

Had dinner with 2 young families in this restaurant, having eaten there once before a year earlier. This time, it was very stressful. Seated at back of restaurant even though the table we asked for was never occupied. Children fed before adults starters came. Took 2 hours to have 2 courses. A fish between 2 people was €100. Staff were... more

I ate dinner at this hotel but was staying nearby (so cannot judge the rooms). Everything about this hotel - for me - is clouded by the fact that it is just so very very expensive. About as expensive as anywhere can be - anywhere. €1000 for a basic room, €50 for a starter in the restaurant etc etc. It's... more

My partner and I have been staying at U Dragulinu for 5 nights. We were looking for a small, quiet hotel right on the beach, and this is more or less what we found, apart from the fact that U Dragulinu is not a hotel: you just have a room, a very basic breakfast and a beach, but no bar... more

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and found it to be very realxing and peaceful. The views down accross the bay were beautiful whether enjoyed from the sofas on the top deck, the sunloungers or the infinity pool. We didn't have a car and Dominique very kindly picked us up and dropped us off in... more

We went with high expectations and felt we had been well and truly ripped off.We have stayed all around the world and I can truthfully say this was the worst value we ever experienced. The set menu was 120 euros per person without wine and the main course from the michelin-starred kitchen was farmhouse chicken that you could knock up yourself... more

We stayed for 1 week for our second year at San Giovanni and again really enjoyed it! Fantastic food - 5 star cuisine in a 2 star hotel! Staff really friendly & helpful. Rooms basic but clean & tidy. Great gardens, and only 5 mins from centre of Porto-Vecchio and ten minutes from beaches. Great value for money as well. more

Hotel lovely. Beautiful pool and terrasse with a lovely view over the sea from all balconies. Big and nice room. Friendly staff. Good food. Plus for free parking indoor. In the heart of Porto Veccio, but quiet and calm. We are very pleased and would love to stay here again! more

The whole hotel looks very nice, materials are wood and stone, it fits perfectly to the surrounding nature and offers a stunning view on the sea that you can enjoy from the pool or from the restaurant area right next to it. It feels and looks like a very secluded place when you sit on the pool terrace. We had... more

Our suite was relatively spacious and pleasantly furnished with lovely sea views -however, our teenagers' standard room next door was cramped with not enough storage space. Both rooms had good balconies. Our shower (over the bath) was useless and flooded an otherwise perfectly nice bathroom. Our daughters had a good shower but no bath. I thought the carpet was very... more

We stayed at Bianca Casa for 5 nights. The views are simply wonderful and there's a fantastic infinity pool just outside the rooms. The room itself was lovely, the bed confortable and with a great 'rain' shower. However, the service was rather frosty. The owners don't speak English and even thought we speak good french they made us feel like... more

Just came back from a visit in Corsica. Of all the hotels we visited, Le Pinarello was clearly the lowest value. We stayed in the standard room for a hefty 428E per night. Room: * Tiny (<20m2) and horribly furnished (tiny table and chair is more two bits of wood nailed together then something to sit on) * The carpet... more

It was a last minute booking in September 2003 with Options Travel and I must say it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. We stayed at Residence La Lezardiere, there are 18 villas none overlooking each other and well spaced apart. The villa we stayed in was situated high on the hillside overlooking the Port and... more
