We have stayed at this hotel every year for many years and have yet to find any major (or minor) complaint with our stays. an overall nice hotel with tidy rooms and a (for italian standards) decent breakfast. the prices were ok, too. the hotel is situated right beside the castle and the marketplace, the distance to the lake is only 500m, so this hotel is an overall good place for a visite at lake garda. the employees could have been a bit friendlier,... more

Albergo Ancora is located in Via Montanara within the walls of the old town - in fact most of it lies "Intra Mura". It is well located and close to shopping and the main sights and the ferry. The rooms either face Viale Dante or Via Diaz. Those facing Via Diaz can be noisy from the restaurants in the area... more
