Just returned from a 7 night stay in Tuscany, making our homebase the Grand Hotel Tettuccio. From this small town we used the trains to see Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terra, and other small Tuscan Villages along the train line. This is a small basic hotel but the beds were extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and the staff helpful and pleasant. The only downside was traffic noise. All in all a value for money hotel. more

On arriving at the hotel we were welcomed by Vincenzo, (owner) who was welcoming and is certainly a character.
