ended up at brekkness at last minute as another hotel in kirkwall was too dirty to stay in. the brekkness however was very clean indeed, and i would recomend this B and B to anyone, very friendly too. more

booked this hotel as it said had been completely refurbished in 2005, more like 1975! was so bad, with bad smells, no proper bathroom (just toilet and then hole in the fllor under the shower) sheets looked dirty on the bed and not ironed, carpet old and filthy. we decided to leave as there was no way we were going... more
