A former manse in central Kirkwall, beautifully restored with old Victorian window shutters, wonderful big light rooms, nicely furnished. Our bed was huge and very comfortable and our bathroom was big with modern appliances, especially a very good shower. Very friendly and helpful owners. It really made our stay in Kirkwall and we shall be going back. more

Stayed here for one week in June - the hotel is very centrally located, close to the cathedral, shops, and waterfront (but most things are in Kirkwall!). It is an older hotel in need of some refurbishment - but the room was very large, and very comfortable, although lacking in a bath. Heating worked well, and kept the room warm... more
