Having reviewed this hotel back in 2004 and loved it, we recently returned for an off-season short break, and was disappointed. Classic French style Cafe-Brasserie, great individual jazz music in the background. First class food loved the brunches therefore came back in the evening to try the a la carte and it was excuisite.Great use of local seasonal produce and friendly informative service. A gem of a Cafe that can match many a gourmet restaurant. more
We stayed at Pension Vestergade 44 for a few nights in July and were treated as guests of the family from beginning to end. Susanna (not sure about the spelling, sorry!), the hostess made us all feel so welcome and chatted with us at breakfast or whenever we were in the building.
