It takes 1 hour by foot from Central Station and 30 minutes to gay area. Place is quite and "canal view" rooms are really nice: you can see the evening sky even from your bathtub. Went to Leidse Square Hotel in June for a few days. The room was very spacious and comfy. Loved the beds, so wanted to take them home with me. Slept like a log.
