We arrived 2 days after Zum Baren opened for the winter season. At the moment we are the only guests. Wengen is very quiet the week before the season opens. The service here is warm and friendly. Our room is very clean and the view from our balcony is gorgeous. We are doing half board and the 4 course meals... more

This was my third stay at the Alpenruhe in Wengen - August 2007, June 2008 and September 2009, and every time it was excellent. Absolutely quiet, spotless and the evening meal was always top notch. I chose this hotel from the internet after researching various places in Wengen and obviously I was well satisfied as I have made 3 trips.... more

As a beginner travelling with an experienced skier and my daughter, was filled with trepidation. After one day, with a fantastic instruction (Stefan) and great new friends completely relaxed and enjoyed all that Club Med has to offer. Highly recommend!! more
