We stayed in Fortunata for 7 nights and were woken promptly at 6am by the bells from the nearby monastery which continued at very regular intervals thereafter rendering further sleep v difficult (they did not ring overnight though). The owners were a delight, the accomodation was just perfect for the 9 of us, (3 single, 3 couples). The villa was clean even to my standard which is very high and comfortable to boot. We rent cottages in England often when travelling and they rarely come to this standard. We found the location very good being a short drive... more
