This is one of the worlds great restaurants. The food was excellent, the service absolutely top notch. There are both unique and everyday items on the menu. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights while on our way to the Barolo area. The hotel is just beautiful. The rooms are large with exceptional views of the city. I'm puzzled by the overly positive reviews of this hotel. The rooms are OK, but the location is very poor (some distance out of town in an area that's somewhat intimidating at night with no nearby bars and restaurants) and the restaurant's limited menu bears little relation to what's on offer (even more limited!).
