This hotel is absolutely fantsatic. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The superior room we had was clean and very spacious. The pool was a God send as it was very hot over 30 everyday. If you want to see Vesuvius by yourself (with no organized trip), you will need to take some local bus (either from Pompei or from Ercolano-Scavi).
