Hotel is right across the street from a Metro stop and near a nice area within Madrid for walking around and seeing the sites. My room was very small as are many in Europe. Breakfast was ok. TV channel selection is good, with several English-speaking options. more

Stayed for 5 days and loved it. Great friendly service; location is unbeatable; around the block from Gran Via, yet away from the noise and hussle; close to reach everywhere. Room was spacious and clean and comfy with one of the largets bathrooms I've ever seen in Europe; and this is all in a single room. more

Hostal Mirentxu is a reasonable value - about what you would expect from a hostal. Beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable and the place was had a very small sign which is only visible from one direction. The Sevilla subway is only a couple blocks away.
