not open every day and you need to book before hand. I have visited this restaurant 3 times with my spanish family for birthdays and celebrationsand wow barbacued monkfish for starters with t bone for second plate, enjoyed with a bottle of paternina banda de oro or campillo. just a very good restaurant and not to pricey like the restaurants... more

The Hotel is situated right beside the beech and within walking distance to some nice attractions. The ground floor of the hotel is very impressive but once you step out into the hallways leading to the bedrooms, you are met with the most crazy outdated wall paper you just wouldnt expect after being in the loddy. For a long weekend in Santander, the stay at Santemar Hotel was wonderful. It was blocks to the beach. If I tried, I could see the ocean from the room. Getting around to other parts of town, via bus. What is in walking distance - Beach!! Tapas Bar where the Sangria ran freely. The hotel seemed like a 4-5 star.... more
