In terms of the comfort, cleanliness, size and design of my room, this hotel compared very favourably with a 5 star hotel in Paris where I stayed in Paris two weeks earlier - and the room in Paris was 1,010 euros a night. We have stayed in many placed in Europe and the Hexenhaus in Dresden is one of the very best, dollar for dollar. Most noticeable was extra caring attitude of the personnel. “Good traditional German food”

We ate here in November of 2009. The Watzke Ball and Brauhaus is a great place to get some good traditional German food in Dresden. The beer was good as was the food. There was plenty of seating and a nice outdoor biergarten. It's not walkable from down town, but is easy to get to by tram or car. more
