If you want the whole German experience you must visit this small restaurant in the Old Town area. It's worth the $$. We did a little research before visiting Hamburg and we got the suggestion from a youtube.com video of a local German who recommends this restaurant. It is no secret that the Atlantic needs refurbishing - and it is being announced in their Atlantic magazine to start soon. What some of the public areas, the pool and the bathrooms lack in style is definitely made up for by the fantastic service attitude and friendliness of the staff (we are in otherwise stiff Hamburg after all!).
