This hotel is an excellent value, the rooms are nice, with air conditioning. Ask for a room in the back of the hotel and on a non-smoking floor. We especially liked the location, just a minute or two from the main train/bus station and a ten-minute walk from the largest store in Europe. We easily got around Berlin using the... more

Beware of this dishonest hotel!!! They charge you for things that never happened!! They wait until you leave and check out to charge your credit card extra money without your permission!! Beware of false statements they make about breaking things in hotel rooms. They claimed I broke a stool that I never even sat in once!!! This is a terrible... more

I was looking for something fairly inexpensive in a good location. Got it. The rooms are very small. I chose one without a toilet but it had a sink and shower. It was about what I expected. I really liked the location with a great bar downstairs. I would stay again. more

This restaurant is primarily gay oriented but is welcoming to all. The food and service are wonderful. The menu changes day by day.:however the highlights for me were an appetizer of sauted wiid mushrooms and a ragout of wid boar and venison. Although we were on a budget we returned on our last evening as a perfect endind to our... more

I ate here several times while in Berlin, simply because it was right next the the hostel I was staying at. While the service was always good, the food was, without fail, terrible. Whether it was burnt or just tasteless, it just wasn't good. Only plus: not expensive. more

This hostel was excellent. Adequate room and bathroom space, plus a balcony. The only downsides were no real desk space in the room, which was OK because the wireless Internet didn't work there. The lobby had plenty of seating, though, and wireless could be used there. Also, the room wasn't far from the elevator and so the door leading to... more

We spent a thoroughly pleasant week at the Adrema. Our room on the 6th floor was not huge, but comfortable and had a stunning view over the river Spree. The bathroom - including the toilet - is separated from the main room only by etched glass walls, which some people will finde uncomfortable. Highlights include the sleek, stylish design and... more

We stayed here for four nights in July and had a fantastic stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was excellent value for money from the outstanding breakfast to the complimentary tea, coffee and cakes, not forgetting the complimentary bottled water. Also the rooms were large and very clean and quiet,... more

If you go to Berlin and want to know about Third Reich, Cold War and the main sites, Insider Tours is the right place! I´d like to give my thanks to David and Barnaby. A special word to Mike - a great story teller! That's what I call enthusiasm! If you have the lucky to get Mike on a tour... more

My boyfriend took me to the Ritz Carlton Berlin as a present for my 21st Birthday. And all i can say is that is was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! at arrival they had placed alittle birthday (cocolate) cake in our room! so sweet! (and tasted delicious). Managed to get an online deal for this 4-star hotel, which would normally be out of my league. Totally loved it. Had a quiet room that faced an inner courtyard. Good-sized wardrobe with safe. Huge bed. Recently renovated, largeish shower/bathroom with huge mirror and decent lighting. The breakfast buffet is a real hit -- massive choice, both sweet and savoury.... more

Not obvious from the outside but the hotel is very nicely designed inside. The service in this hotel was very good. We cannot comment on the food as we tended to eat out all the time. It is well located with Postdamer Platz across the street, which is great for food or a sit down after a hard day's sightseeing.... more

My wife and I were travelling to Berlin on our tail end of our 15 day trip back to Berlin for a few more nights. We booked via hotwire this hotel as it was in a great location for us and it was rated 5 stars. The hotel was fine nothing to really complain about but to me it did... more

My wife and I just got back from travelling eastern Europe. This was out first hotel in a 15 day trip we took and stayed here for 3 nights. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay right by the airport. They had a complimentary shuttle, which was a wonderful perk, as many other "airport" hotels in the area do not. Check-in was easy, the staff and shuttle drivers were friendly. The hotel itself had a nice lobby, two free internet computers in the lobby, which were... more

Stayed here with my boyfriend for a weekend visit to Berlin and had a wonderful stay. While it's more geared towards business people and not exactly romantic, it was nice for relaxing as well. The lobby and fishtank were nice to look at, and the location was convenient for sightseeing. The hotel is located just across from a park and... more

This was our first hotel in Europe. We stayed 2 nights. I thought the room was charming. I liked the high ceilings, the geraniums around the balcony, and fresh flowers in the bathroom. The teenagers were intrigued that you could buy a beer in the soda machine downstairs. I found the room comfortable for 4 people...a little tight...but not bad. more

I stayed in the budget single room which which basically felt like sleeping in a converted store cupboard however, you get what you pay for and the price was spot on as was the breakfast, the location is excellent and its only a 10 minute walk to the metro. more
