We just come back for a 2 night stay in this hotel. As many other people said, it is nice & clean, even if poor deco wise. I really liked the Friedrichain area, with nice places (and surprinsingly very cheap) to eat & drink. If you stay here, ask for a room that is NOT located on the street side... more

This is a typical ETAP Hotel and I liked a lot. The price is very good and it offers you a clean bedroom with a nice breakfast. There was a bread which I loved! It seemed brazilian bread called "pao frances" and it was delicious. The bathroom was clean and the notel is located near a S-Bahn station (walking distance).... more

Spent a couple nights at the Melia Berlin in Nov 2007 on business. What a great find - perfect location as a base - steps away from Freidrichstrasse Station and Unter den Linden and located on the banks of the Spree. Walk from station is literally seconds - although at the time I was there the area was quite dark... more
