The room we had was large and comfortable but rather basic, with three flights of stairs to be climbed, but that doesn't matter because the hotel and the village are so pleasant. This is an excellent medieval village that is justly proud of not having any external electricity wires. The restaurant is also excellent. Note the floor tiles! more

A stunning hotel full of character situated ona hilltop with beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. The rooms vary in size and comfort I have only stayed in the turret rooms which are very comfortable with good sized bathrooms (although no proper shower), TV etc.The restaurant is fantastic as you would expect but rather inflexible, closing early- the last orders... more
