We agree with nearly all of the reviews written thus far. The hotel is a great find and -- for a city in France -- quite a bargain. No, it's not cheap, but try to find this sort of value for the money in Lyon and you'll look for a long, long time. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable.... more

I was amazed by how spacious the rooms were. I was traveling alone and almost felt guilty taking up so much room. The hotel is very chic and elegant. We had booked to stay at The College Hotel but on arrival they had processed our reservation incorrectly and didn’t have a room for us.
