Very centrally located hotel in a pedestrian street, a 6 minute walk from Perrache TGV station. Close to shops, restaurants and sights. Vieux Lyon only 4-5 minutes away. Nice 19th century building. Spacious and comfortable rooms with airconditioning. Good bathroom. Everything was very clean. Good breakfast with a great selection of ham, yam, bread, cheese etc. Staff offered good service.... more

I spent 6 nights at the La Residence and couldn't be happier. My room was spacious and lovely, spotlessly clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and responsive. Stayed here overnight on a Globus tour. My wife had a shower in the evening and commented that the water was a little cool - thought it may have been just adjusting the taps. Next morning - cold showers for all. Not a pleasant way to proceed on the journey to Paris. No apology, but they must have known the... more
