In September we visited the “Festival of the Pumpkins” at the Chateau du Rivau and gardens at Lémeré. On entering the grounds of the chateau a carnival atmosphere was evident with two jugglers entertaining the children (and adults) in the centre court. Around this area was stalls with quality arts and crafts, jewellery, honey, cheeses, coffees, home made jams (confiture)... more

We've spenther two nights in mid December. Standard clean rooms, bathroom and breakfast just ok.Cold staff and expensive internet.Perhaps a little overpriced for the location. more

The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and very tastefully decorated. The B&B is centrally located in Amboise and very quiet. The breakfast is great. The owner is a gem -- friendly and helpful. more
