We stayed here for the one night we were in Cherbourg. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room was light and airy overlooking the marina. Everything was very clean although some of the paintwork could do with a bit of tlc! We didn't eat in the restaurant as the menu did not appeal and we flet it... more

try to get a room overlooking the harbor . . . not a bad place for 40 euro a night! but I wouldn't want to make a long stay at this place. more

Wife and I stayed one night at the Hotel Chantereyne because the hotel we booked via email (the Ambassaduer) couldn't find our final confirmation email and they were full when we got there.
