Friendly helpful management, intelligent staff, extremely clean. Allowed us into room early morning, made up beds as we left them (ie without blankets - too hot). Close to train and bus stations. Quiet back street. Near good cheap restaurants. more

booked room with bath and it only had a shower retaurant menu was overly complicated and the wines very much overpriced for what they were the food was reasonable and we enjoyed the meal but would have preferred it without all the extra things with sauce that we didn't order and really didn't want. the worst was breakfast, no service... more

Evan is a great host. Think of the movie clue. The place is right out of the 15th century, complete with a skelton key for your room. Take a drive to St. Malo for the day, or enjoy the local country side. Stay away from the local French restaurant.....too Bizzare! Anything you ask for will be brought to your room... more
