I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Lowry Theatre, a short five minute stroll by the Quays. Booking in advance I payed just £19 to stay at this Travelodge for one night. This is barely more than a youth hostel would have charged. At £50 a night for a large roopm, it's hard to complain. Fortunately I didn't have anything to complain about. This enormous historic building is undergoing long-term upgrading.
