Stayed in the Yorkshire Hotel for one night - booked a double room with cot. On arrival friendly welcome, although the cot wasn't in the room when we arrived, when I phoned reception the cot arrived in under 10 minutes but 2 very friendly members of staff. The decor is fine, the atmosphere nice and relaxed, and the service was just right - attentive without being pestilential, not too rushed or slow. We had the early bird which was very good value...my smoked haddock risotto was good, the standard issue girl's starter (goats cheese tart thing) that my partner had was fine too.
