We booked for a 2 night weekend package deal for the begining of November. We were pleasantly surprised at how central the hotel was, so easy to find dead centre of all the night life. The railway lodge is in a great location and Sheila gave us a friendly welcome. I was there with my mother to look for accommodation to buy and Sheila was very helpful in providing local information. Visited here with a group in July and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience -especially the morning breakfast visit by the robin - even he/she knows a good thing!!
