I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Queensferry road for 3 nights whilst working in Edinburgh. I found the room to be a good size. It had 2 double beds which were comfortable, a TV, tea and coffee facilities, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Avoid the fish pakora – it must have lived, or died, in their freezer for over a year – curries were ok but that’s now enough these days - sad. more

My parents stayed in Kew House for two nights in November and were really really happy with it. Their room was nicely decorated, very clean, including details such as sherry, box of roses and so on. The owners were so friendly and helpful and my parents really enjoyed the delicious breakfast. more
