Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst we attended the Tattoo. Location is great with bus stops almost outside the door and a regulat bus service in to the city centre (never had more than 10 minutes to wait). We visited Edinburgh for a couple of days in July 2009. The city was unbelievably beautiful. It is so historic and we really enjoyed The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. This was a nice place. Not luxurious, by any means, but a very nice place for a family to stay. It was convenient to walk to all the tourist places in Edinburgh, even with a 3 year old.
