We stayed here before and after our wedding. The first stay the hotel was quiet and the staff were lovely and friendly the room must have been recently furnished and was very pretty. went to the gretna hall hotel for xmas,the food was very nice good service from all the staff.drinks from the bar are very exspensive. could do with a lot of updating to the inside the carpets are in a shabby state ,no central heating only electric heaters and open fires very cold. more
just a quick review on the solway lodge gretna.. went up to get married 14 th feb 09.stayed in the hotel with a few family members,EXCELLENT all round,bar staff, food staff,cooks.very clean .Ian made us feel very wecome during the stay..booked up again for next year 1 year on.....cant wait to you all again...thanks again....kev + lorraine mcguckin... more
