Having read iffy reviews on Trip Advisor we had been reassured by follow-up comments from the management and also it's standards are supposedly assessed by Visit Scotland, so we thought it must be OK. How wrong we were! The booking was made over the phone and upgrades were offered, one to a 4-poster room overlooking the Tweed - sounded lovely.... more

We have just had 3 nights booked for the Elvis night which was 100% plus James was also very good, On the Friday the singer was as also OK, As for Sunday night the singer was Cr-- what singer as the backing music so high that you can't hear him, As for the Hotel it is looking very tired and... more

Food was good, but expensive - £10 for veg and potatoes. No veggie options without dairy. Service was bearable, but they stuck me, a fat disabled person, in the middle of the room where there was constant traffic behind me. Very off putting. more
