The Queens Head at Clandon is tucked away just off the A246, but the busy car park is a clear indicator that they are doing something right. I haven't been to The Withies Inn for some time to eat due to the fact I thought the food to be over priced and exceptionally bland...................nothing has changed !! What a shame as the pub, the staff and the ambience are all brilliant. If you like Pub grub at any cost, then you will be fine. more

Blubeckers used to be my favourite restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy going there and I love the BBQ ribs, but it just is not as good as it used to be. The staff seem slightly less attentive than I remember and the some of the food is just not quite as attractively presented or is as tasty... more
