This was rated high in Trip Advisor so we thought we would give it a visit. It was really a bust for us. There is nothing scary or even somewhat unnerving that we experienced. Stayed here for 4 nights, and have absolutely no regrets. Had a delightful, single roomy room overlooking the rear garden, with a new bathroom which was always sparkling clean. We are national trust members and so sought this attraction out, not that it's difficult, being in a fabulous location right next to York Minster chapter house.
