Taxi driver called it Gods waiting room and he was right.Bedrooms small and filthy,multi unmatched wallpaper. Shower had a life of its own (and a smell to match). leg fell off a bed. Food was to die of when it eventually arrived.At least it gave us more than one laugh and we all got out alive. more

2 mums with 11 year old daughters arrived late after a terrible 5 hour journey in a storm only to be reprimanded by the owner for arriving late and even though we'd paid in full in advance we were refused dinner as a punishment for arriving late and not letting them know we were going to be late. It was a spontaneous stay at this guesthouse as my partner & I got up one Saturday morning and decided to go to Blackpool for the day and stay over. It was a lovely guesthouse and Barry & Ena were more than happy to help with anything. The rooms were lovely, tidy and clean. The breakfast was lovely. Definitely somewhere... more
