“Beware of tourism awards”

Highly rated on tripadvisor and advertised as being winner of B & B of the year in the local tourism awards 2009 so I booked without checking its exact location. The brochure says that the property is "nestling in its own quiet and secluded gardens", however it is on the corner of an A road and a B road. Even... more

A1++ We loved it. The Hotel is ideally situated minutes from Windermere centre. Rooms were spotlessly clean as was the rest of the public areas. Breakfast was well presented and delicious. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. more

very trendy and beautiful accommodation. We absolutley loved the design and decor. The bath was particularly fabulous. A real treat! more
