A triumph of common sense over categories, Dolphin House is that rare thing - a successful blend of self-catering and B&B. We stayed in the double room which is huge, clean and very nicely decorated. Had a 3 course meal on Saturday evening. The watercress soup was underseasoned, the pork tenderloin was good but came with an overly thick floury gravy and a dish of of beetroot and swede which had had the life pureed out of it. I've been to this cracking little restaurant twice now and I felt compelled to write a review as it's so fantastic. Winchester has been crying out for a Thai restaurant for ages and this one more than makes up for the lack of authentic Asian cuisine in the city.
