The staff were very welcoming and friendly on our arrival and throughout our short stay. Our room (Osborne & Little) which overlooked the cathedral was spacious, elegantly furnished, extreamely comfortable. Room service was excellent and the breakfast was superbly prepared and presented. After a 6 hour drive we arrived at Norton Park just before 11pm and initial impressions were good, it looked very modern and sleek. Check-in was a total farce; I was totally ignored by the reception attendant, he was casually filling in a form on the computer and even though we were stood facing each other he just carried on... more

Great central location in Winchester however our room was in serious need of updating, especially the bathroom.. The enamel was peeling from the bath and the showerhead (postioned at knee-level?!) was falling off the wall. It also was not cleaned properly. You definately are paying for the location, it could be lovely considering that it was built in the C16.... more
