We can't comment on the hotel but the restuarant was excellent. You are made to feel more like a house guest than an a customer. There is nothing wrong with the Vanilla Pod but it was not our best eating out experience. The food was good enough - no complaints, but it did not stand out and two months on I can't remember what we actually ate. The price was on the high side for what was basically a cafe. What a lovely place! This is a great guest house in one of the best locations imaginable. Carolne and Alan are great hosts and the tea and homemade cake was most welcome.
