This was about the 7th time we have stayed in Montreal and the third at this hotel. The location is perfect as it is near downtown shopping and dining and has outstanding views from the upper floors. Stayed at Chateau de l'Argoat during the Just for Laughs festival and was quite impressed. No, this isn't a five-star property, and the room we stayed in was fairly small with a very hard bed, but it was clean and quiet and the staff really made us feel welcome.
