Highly recommended for many reasons: the large, well-appointed rooms, attractive interior, an excellent restaurant and (especially) the courteous and helpful staff. The hotel is unprepossessing on the outside but its location and amenities are hard to beat. They get all the small things right, which is what I'm looking for in a hotel. more

We spent 3 wonderful nights here culminating with the festivities for Canada Day on July 1. We were able to attend the Nova Scotia Tatoo in the Halifax dome just across the street as well as view the holiday fireworks from the 6th floor of the hotel.The location can't be beat- just below the Citadel and a a few blocks... more
