We stopped in for some joe at Javaroma Coffee during a recent visit to Yellowknife after coming across a magazine article highlighting this as a runner's stop and a place to buy some local roast. Good solid place to stay. Some of the older rooms do not have the comforts of the updated rooms on the higher floors. more
Calamari was greasy and the accompanying dip was uninspired and nothing like tzatziki, Muskox was overcooked and tough and grizzle laden, Spaetzle was gloopey and under-seasoned, the vegetables were sparse and all of this "gourmet french cuisine" cost over $53. If anyone is writing a review about this restaurant it is propaganda from the owners and should not be trusted!!! more
