“Pool great, check in staff not so great”

We stayed at the Canad Inn several times this past year. So, I think I can give a good account of what is good and bad about this place. We enjoyed our night at Canad Inn Brandon. The rooms are no frills, but quite comfortable, quiet, clean and overall pretty good. We even wound down in the pool after a long trip. We were returning from a week-long whirlwind trip to SK and AB, and on a whim, decided not to subject our toddler to another 3 hours of driving and stay in Brandon for the night. Knew nothing about the Inn, but decided to try it out. Very friendly and hospitable. Desk staff gave our child some fruit in the evening... more
