“Lovely, but overrated”

We looked forward to our stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, expecting complete luxury. Although the staff was friendly and extremely competent, the rooms (we saw two, because we rejected the first) did not live up to our expectations. Our dinner was excellent and a good value for a steak place. Don't miss the goat cheese appetizer and spinach salad. A full filet dinner includes salad, veggie, baked potato, steak and bernaise sauce for about $36/pp. We highly recommend the Keg. more

We were attracted to this restaurant by the menu choice displayed outside and were not disappointed.
