I had booked into another place In Xalapa which proved to be a dump. Thankfully, I had read of Clara Luna in Lonely Planet. Great location in Xalapa. Brilliant rooms, great breakfast choice, corteous staff and the best matress i think I have slept on! Definitely the best hotel for me in Xalapa. more

I've been staying at Posada La Mariquinta for years. Every time I go to my hometown, I stay there. Jean-Luc and his staff are excellent hosts, the place is very well located, the rooms at the back are quiet, like I like.
