Las Hadas is a beautiful old property but boy is it boring! Stay here only if you want to totally relax and nothing else. The bars are closed most of the time and the town is about a 25 minute trip away by taxi. The taxi only cost about 8 usd so it's reasonable. On the bright side, the concierge... more

I agree with many of the comments posted by others. The resort can use some updating but we still found the place to be 'charming.' We practically had the place to ourselves mid-week (gets crowded on the weekends.) We opted for the Brisas Beach Club and enjoyed both the adult pool and the daily cocktail hour. Based on other travelers reviews we stayed at La Posada for 4 days, April 13 - April 16, 2008, two rooms - 4 people.
